Learn how to make a basic scatter cushion with an invisible zipper.
This workshop is designed to build your sewing confidence and will provide you with the foundation techniques for scatter cushion making.
At the end of your workshop you will go home with a completed scatter cushion and a skillset to make more at home.
You will receive expert step by step tuition to complete the following:
- Measuring the cushion panels accurately
- Precise cutting of the panels
- Preparing and inserting an invisible zip
- Sewing accurately to achieve sharp corners.
If you have your own sewing machine we recommend you bring it with you, this will help your confidence to continue making cushions.
Your tutor Sarah is a master upholsterer, and has been teaching upholstery & soft furnishings since 2012, so you can be assured that you will be in safe & knowledgeable hands.

GOOD TO KNOW:
- We do have a selection of fabrics for you to choose on the day. However, if you have a chosen colour scheme or pattern choice we recommend you bring your own fabric.
