This two day workshop will provide you with the skills to make a lined bowed
empire lampshade using traditional methods and hand stitching techniques.
Learn how to bind the frame, template and fit your top fabric and lining, finishing off with a
traditionally hand stitched bias trim.
Everything is included apart from your outer fabric.
You will be provided with a second frame, tape, pins & thread for you to complete another
lampshade at home
You will require approx 1.2m of fabric (pattern dependent) & matching thread

Would you like to make a lampshade to compliment your own interior? This half day workshop will introduce you to the tools and techniques to make a professional finished 30cm drum lampshade. If you prefer a different size this can be arranged.
